Our long-time users know we are small changes enthusiastic. Applications are best when they work for users, and to do that they need to not only include those bells and whistles features, but also those little things that make the work of the users easier, faster and efficient. This month’s version have a few of these, in different areas:
- Bug Tracker Integration:
- Jira: Testuff integration with Jira was always a strong, two-way, automatic integration with data and updates flow in both directions, allowing the team better collaboration an efficient testing-development relationship. We’re continuously enhancing the integration, and this time we’ve enforced the connection between the requirements, their assigned tests, and defects reported from these tests. Defects reported from tests, assigned to requirements that were imported from Jira Epic issues, can be automatically linked to these Jira Epic issues, adding information from Testuff into Jira, helping testers and developers stay on top of the testing information flow.
- Redmine: Additional custom field types added to the integration with Redmine.
- File attachments: Attachments on reported defects will now show their actual original names in the tracker, rather than just a link.
- Audit Trail: The new ‘Diff’ feature on the audit trail details, was presented in last month’s version and received great feedback. We’ve now included this change in all audit trails – tests, defects and other elements.
- Labs:
- The Test ID # was added to the details of tests in the lab, to help with identifying the tests and their suite location. Note that in both the desktop and web clients you can control which details will show in the lab for the assigned tests, and customize them for what ever details you need while working.
- Lab Labels: Labs include now an option to apply labels to them, making it easier to group labs and identify them by labels.
